A Place in the Sun Live last took place on 28th – 30th March 2014 and was a great success. The exhibition saw an increase of 16% in visitor numbers, up from 5,195 to 6,049 with hugely positive feedback from exhibitors.
A Place in the Sun is a famous, highly visible name in the UK – to the British public it simply means ‘overseas property‘.
A Place in the Sun started life as a TV show first broadcast in 2000, since then the programme and its presenters have become part of popular TV culture. A Place in the Sun and its highly successful spin-off series A Place in the Sun: Home or Away? are all about buying property abroad and opening up a world of opportunity to the British public.
In 2005 A Place in the Sun Live was launched and quickly became the largest overseas property exhibition in Europe. The first of the year takes place in the spring at Olympia London followed by the autumn event at the NEC Birmingham, with each exhibition attracting thousands of British buyers planning to buy an overseas property.
